* hardware-mixed (when supported by hardware) DirectSound crossfading * no more problems with waveOut seeking in winxp (old plugin used to freeze) * full support for 24/32bit data and multichannel sound * waveOut code is opensource i've tried to keep it as simple as possible to prevent cross-windows-version stupidity and per-driver problems. * best skipping protection possible, especially in DirectSound like the irc log says, all the hell broke loose when i insalled win2k on my main box. Of course, if you aren't having any problems, there are no reasons to upgrade, old plugins behaved fine on those "standard" win98/soundblaster systems.
